Last Sunday of July, or How Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

I can’t believe it is Sunday. Ok, Sven is going to have to sweat without me in the Seventy Days of Sweat…again. I have worked on streamlining the plotting of the WIP. However, not much new writing. I’ve actually decided to employ the manual plot board process. Interesting concept. I think I may end up as a combination plotter/pantser, which is okay with me. I just want to figure out a process that is less painful and will keep me on track.

The day job decided to have horrible timing. It had cooperated so well for a while. I had to go to Washington, DC, last week for a couple of days. Now, I have to go again this week and again the following week. Don’t they know that school is about to start and I have to get kids registered for school and stuff? Not to mention that I have to work on the WIP. I WILL get that sucker finished, if for no other reason than I promised myself that I would. It’s not like some of my friends who have actual deadlines they are up against. My deadline is imposed by me. “Me” knows that no one else is looking for it, so “me” tends to procrastinate.

I cannot believe I will actually have a senior in high school. We had her senior pictures done in June. Now that depressed me.
Well, Sven, I will do all I can to make good on my committment to the challenge. However, I’m doing a terrible job so far. Forgive me challenge masters – Stephanie, Alison, Larissa, HelenKay, and Jo. At least I plotted! Baby steps. Now, if someone would get the day job to leave me alone I could get some writing done. :{
Happy Writing

Movie Star Boyfriend Quiz

Now this is the kind of quiz I like. Take the quiz. My movie star boyfriend is… YES!

George Clooney

When it comes to movie stars, Clooney’s it. There’s no one more handsome, more polished, more old school suave and charming than this Kentucky boy. Er man… Another thing about Clooney: he’s all man — from his pack of guy friends, who he’s hung with since landing in Hollywood in the ’80s, to his rather committed effort to remaining, well, uncommitted. Yep, if Clooney’s your soulmate, you’re in for some frustrating days — and nights. He’s fun, funny, polite, loyal, chivalrous and all about do-gooding efforts. But if you’re planning on spending lots of time at that gorgeous Italian villa of his, we’d advise taking lots of pictures the first time you go. Because, with his serial dating ways, it might be a one-time visit. Still, who wouldn’t be willing to risk a little heartbreak for a chance at being the one woman who could tame that wickedly smart and sexy man?

I’d risk it for this looker!
