Today, History Will Be Made

January 20, 2009

What to watch for on Inauguration DayYes, today the U.S. of A. will make history.  We inaugurate our first non-Caucasian, but still male, President.  A huge step for our growing country.  Admittedly, it should have occurred sooner, but the fact it is finally happening is a HUGE accomplishment.

Unprecedented ways to see inauguration from afarIt doesn’t matter what political party you belong to.  The fact is, this is a wonderful demonstration of our country’s ability to learn that race does not dictate one’s ability to lead.  Now, how Barack Obama will lead is yet to be determined, but the fact that he will be given the opportunity to show us is, in a word, AWESOME!
